Journey Overview

It’s the ideal seaside sojourn and in the summer, the stylish Coaster runs from Bridlington to Scarborough, sampling the delights of Reighton Sands, Blue Dolphin, Filey, Primrose Valley, Flower of May, Crow’s Nest and Cayton Bay – locations and names that have their own unique charm and mystery.

Coaster is perfect for those staying at Primrose Valley holiday village, Blue Dolphin holiday village, Reighton Sands holiday village, Cayton Bay holiday village, Crows Nest holiday village and Flower of May holiday village. It’s the ideal service to go up and down the stunning coast and also provide the gateway to Scarborough with its hustle and bustle, eclectic nightlife, amusement arcades, culture, heritage, county cricket and seaside thrills and spills!

A Fab Day Out!

Start (or finish) your trip with a visit to bright and breezy Bridlington, with its elegant promenades, sandy beach, award-winning promenades, historic harbour and traditional seaside entertainment. Funfair, amusements and donkey rides on the beach, it’s a whirlwind of fun before the bus meanders its way at a leisurely pace along the coast and home to the Filey Folk Festival which takes place across venues in the town each May and showcases plenty of different styles of folk music. Filey also hosts the Trackrod Rally which is a thrilling experience and it is a hub for food events including a regular Farmers Market and Filey International Food Festival, a magnet for local culinary delights and produce.

A walk on the wide-open beach at Primrose Valley is awe-inspiring and if you’re lucky enough to be staying at the Holiday Park, there’s a collection of frenzied, action-packed adventures for families. However, for a more serene ambience, then stop off at Cayton Bay with its beautiful, remote, wide sweeping beach, clean water and a great place to explore and maybe find a fossil or two hidden in the rocks beneath the cliffs. It’s a haven too for surfers, kayakers and paddle-boarders.

Before not too long, the bus arrives at Scarborough with its seaside delights and innocent pleasures, from the arcades to a boat trip round the bay, of theatre showings and county cricket. The Coaster really is a bus service that has it all!
