About

The Scotch Whisky Experience takes you on a guided tour through the story of Scotch whisky, from how it’s made to what sets each region apart. It starts with a short barrel ride through a dramatised distillery, followed by an interactive session where you explore the ingredients, geography and traditions behind whisky making. In the aroma room, you’ll identify key scents found in different whiskies before sitting down to taste one (or more) with expert guidance.

The final stop is the glass vault, home to over 3,300 bottles of Scotch, where your guide explains the history and variety behind the collection. After the tour, the Amber Restaurant & Whisky Bar offers over 450 bottles and a menu built around Scottish produce. If you’re keen to go further, upgraded tours include flights of regional whiskies or extended tastings in private rooms.

Highlights

  • A guided ride through a recreated distillery that walks you through each step of whisky production.
  • The aroma room, where you’ll match common scents to different Scotch regions.
  • A tasting session led by staff who explain flavour profiles as you sample.
  • The glowing vault containing more than 3,300 bottles, each with a story behind it.
