Journey Overview

This is the bus service that is the perfect royal link from Buckingham Palace Road in Victoria and travelling to Windsor then on to the fantastic Legoland attraction. It’s a trip that’s certainly fit for a King as the bus winds its way out of Central London, picking up at Hyde Park Corner, Royal Albert Hall, Kensington High Street and Hammersmith before speeding westwards to Langley and Slough. The bus then continues to Windsor stopping right outside the castle walls at the Theatre Royal and in the heart of this famous town. The fun doesn’t stop then as the bus makes it way to Legoland, with its awesome rides and breath-taking Miniland which showcases incredible model scenes from Europe, the USA and around the world featuring 40miliion lego bricks.

A Fab Day Out!

There’s so much to pack into one day that your best bet is to start early, particularly if you are looking to catch a few sights in London before boarding the London Line 702 to Windsor, where you can step into the world of Kings and Queens with a visit to the Castle which is almost 1,000 years old and the largest and oldest inhabited castle in the world and of course the family home of the Royal Family and King. A ramble in Windsor Great Park is also recommended, including The Long Walk, a three-mile-long, tree-lined thoroughfare from the Copper Horse Statue of George III in the park to Windsor Castle, alongside red deer who roam all parts of the park. Windsor & Eton Brewery is always good for a swift half or pint afterwards and the chance to taste signature beers, like Guardsman, Conqueror and Harry & Meghan’s Windsor Knot. Time is at a premium and so it’s back on the London Line 702 and if you didn’t get the chance check out Canary Wharf, The London Eye and Buckingham Palace before boarding the London Line 702, there’s always the chance to see them in miniature at Legoland. It’s not the easiest of places to get to, except for by this fantastic bus service which stops right on the doorstep of the best landmarks in London, Windsor and at Legoland, making it the ultimate convenient way to travel.

There are events aplenty throughout the year at Legoland, including fireworks and if you want to spend longer than half a day or more, then the Legoland Castle Hotel with its magic and captivating tales and décor relating to Knights, Wizards and Kingdoms from distant lands or you could stay at The Legoland Resort Hotel which has interactive lego features and a brightly coloured splash pool.

After the thrills and spills of Legoland, respite and calm is in sight with the Green Line 702 right outside the entrance to whisk you back to Central London with the minimum of fuss.
