This award-winning festival returns again, with alpine chalets lining Parliament Street and St Sampson’s Square and a market showcasing a magical array of local crafts, artisan products and sumptuous seasonal treats. Getting there by public transport
The York and Country Bus Company runs services into York, including the scenic 840 from Whitby and Malton and 843 from Scarborough and Malton. East Yorkshire Buses run from 9 routes into and around the City too, as well as from Hull on the fabulous X46/7.
