Attraction Overview

Set across 22 acres of woodland, the Hawk Conservancy Trust cares for more than 130 raptors in spacious aviaries and free-flight arenas. The Trust provides vital conservation work, running breeding programmes for vultures and other raptors while treating injured birds in its National Bird of Prey Hospital. Staff and volunteers work closely with researchers to monitor wild bird populations and develop techniques for habitat preservation and species recovery.

Daily flying displays feature owls, hawks, eagles and vultures performing precision flight demonstrations in theatre-style arenas. You can also join Owl or Falconer sessions, and explore themed nature trails and the Feathers Restaurant in a relaxed countryside setting.

How to get here

The Trust is on Sarson Lane just outside Weyhill, near Andover. From the A303 take the A343 north, then turn onto Sarson Lane when you spot wildlife signage. You’ll pass open fields and see nesting platforms before arriving at the main car park, which is next to the visitor reception and Feathers Restaurant.
