Celebrities have stopped off aplenty at this amazing cafe next to the Pier on the beach at Lytham St Anne’s. It’s no surprise as the views over the sandy dunes and with the glistening sea are something else and it’s ideal for dog walkers, taking a break on their sojourn along the seafront.

This is a cosy cafe resplendent in character, bedecked with pics on the walls of famous personalities who have stopped by, but it’s the food that most particularly gives the incredible place it’s reputation – the chocolate eclairs with whipped cream are absolutely huge, the range of ice-creams are mind-boggling and the fish and chips as crispy and tasty as you’ll find anywhere in the UK. So too, the homemade cakes are waiting to be devoured – and delicious they are too!

There’s always the friendliest of welcomes here and a sense of convivial fun and hospitality where everyone who sets foot feels like a regular and is given a hearty ‘hello’ and meticulous customer service.
