Victoria Park, Dyce

Victoria Park is a friendly community green space in the heart of Dyce, a village on the northern edge of Aberdeen well known as the home of Aberdeen International Airport. The park provides a welcome patch of open lawn, mature trees and play areas in an otherwise busy commuter suburb, and is popular with local families, dog walkers and after-school footballers.

The park has a children's play area, open grassland for kickabouts and benches set among the planting, with paths suitable for an easy stroll. It sits close to Dyce railway station and the village centre, making it straightforward to combine a quick visit with a trip on the Aberdeen to Inverurie line or a walk along the nearby River Don.

For visitors with a little more time, Dyce is also the starting point for the Formartine and Buchan Way, a long-distance walking and cycling route that follows a former railway line northwards through rural Aberdeenshire, and the historic Dyce Symbol Stones at the ruined St Fergus Kirk are a short distance away.
