About Dreamland Margate
Dreamland is a restored amusement park on Margate's seafront, originally built in 1920. The park reopened in 2015 after a major restoration project, bringing back much of its original character whilst adding modern attractions. You'll find vintage wooden roller coasters, traditional fairground rides, and arcade games alongside newer additions. The park hosts live entertainment throughout the year, from rock and roll nights to comedy shows.
The scenic railway remains one of the park's most iconic rides, offering views across the bay. Food vendors and bars are scattered throughout the grounds. Dreamland appeals to families with younger children through to adults seeking nostalgic entertainment, with special themed events during peak seasons.
