About Broadstairs Seafront
Broadstairs seafront runs along a gently shelving sandy beach backed by a Victorian-style promenade lined with shops, cafes, amusement arcades and ice-cream kiosks. The Blue Flag beach is popular for families and swimmers during summer months, with lifeguard coverage during the main season. The seafront has rock pools at low tide, making it good for exploring the shore.
The town maintains a classic English seaside feel, with several Victorian buildings still visible along the front. The promenade is pedestrianised and busy in summer with visitors, but quieter outside the holiday season. Access is easy from the town centre, and facilities include toilets, parking nearby, and plenty of food and drink options. The seafront connects to several coastal walking routes along the cliffs.
