About this attraction

About The Vine, Tenterden

The Vine is a long-established pub near the western end of Tenterden's broad, tree-lined High Street. Occupying a period building typical of this Wealden market town, it sits within the Tenterden Conservation Area, where wide grass verges and mature limes give the street its distinctive character.

Inside you'll find a traditional pub layout with beamed ceilings, a working fireplace and a mixture of dining and drinking areas. The menu leans towards British pub classics, and Kentish ales feature alongside the usual selection of wines and spirits. There is a garden to the rear for warmer days.

The Vine makes a convenient stop if you're walking the High Street between the parish church of St Mildred and the Kent & East Sussex Railway station at Town station, or breaking a journey on the bus between Ashford and Tenterden.
