About Warrington Market

Warrington Market is the town's covered indoor market, relocated in 2020 to a modern purpose-built hall as part of the Time Square redevelopment beside the bus interchange. The new building keeps the traditional trader stalls but combines them with a large open street-food area, communal seating and a bar, making it as much a place to eat as to shop.

Around the edges you will find long-established Warrington traders selling fresh meat, fish, cheese, fruit and vegetables, bread and cakes, alongside florists, haberdashers and gift stalls. The food hall in the centre includes independent kitchens serving everything from Neapolitan pizza and burgers to Caribbean, Asian and vegan dishes, with regular live music at weekends.

The market sits directly opposite Warrington Town Hall and next to the Bus Interchange, so it is an easy first stop for anyone arriving in town. Weekday lunchtimes are lively with local office workers, and evenings often stretch on with the food and drink offer running later than a traditional market.
