Dodd Wood, Keswick

Dodd Wood is an extensive area of mixed forest clothing the slopes between Bassenthwaite Lake and the higher fell country, forming part of a landscape actively managed by the Forestry Commission. The woodland comprises coniferous plantations mixed with broadleaf species, creating a varied habitat that supports diverse plant and animal life.
