About The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra are celebrating the best Bond themes from the last seven decades at the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton on Sunday 21 March 2027 at 7.00pm. The name's Bond – James Bond. When it comes to the high life, nobody does it better. The BSO puts on its tux, pours itself a Martini and toasts the superstar spy with some of the sassiest signature tunes in cinematic history. They say diamonds are forever, and as the Orchestra celebrates seven decades of gadgets and super villains, we see that Bond tunes are every bit as enduring and brilliant. This concert is conducted by British composer, music producer and orchestral conductor, David Arnold. Also singer and actress accompanies the orchestra as a soloist for hits such as… Dr. No For Your Eyes Only Diamonds Are Forever Skyfall Thunderball From Russia With Love Goldfinger Live And Let Die The World Is Not Enough Licence To Kill Nobody Does It Better The Living Daylights Moonraker Golden Eye You Only Live Twice We Have All The Time In The World This concert is part of their BSO Pops series – this fantastic array of concerts include popular classics that you will recognize from TV and adverts to full- blown symphonic Spectaculars showcasing the music of the likes of Queen, ABBA and Pink Floyd and outdoor extravaganzas at Meyrick Park in Bournemouth. They also perform regular film music nights which feature some of the best movie classics ever written and an annual feast of Christmas and New Year seasonal treats.
