About A guided walk exploring the history of Winchester toilets to mark UN World Toilet Day. A donation from the ticket price will be made to WaterHarvest charity. Join one of Winchester's professional guides for a 90 minute walking tour, starting at Winchester Visitor Information Centre. The history of Winchester's toilets to celebrate UN World Toilet Day on 19th November. An unusual subject but surprisingly interesting! How did Winchester deal with its waste? From the monks and merchants of the Middle Ages to the Muckabites of the Victorian Age, see a side of Winchester that is not often explored, but fun! A donation from the ticket price will be made to the WaterHarvest charity (No. 1127564). Tickets are £15 for adults, £5 for children (under 16) and available in advance through the website or in person on the day at the Visitor Information Centre if still available.
