About Durham Christmas Festival returns – the perfect combination of Christmas shopping and seasonal entertainment in the unique and stunning setting that is Durham City Centre. We'll have fabulous markets; the Craft & Producers' Marquee on Palace Green (an entry charge applies), our Festive Outdoor Market in Durham Market Place and Durham Indoor Market. Each market will be open each day of the festival. In addition, we'll have a city full of festive music and special events to get everyone in the festive mood – from seasonal storytelling, to Carols for All in the Cathedral.
