About this walk
The Long Walk at Kedleston Hall is a gentle circular route through the landscaped parkland of one of Derbyshire's grand country estates. Setting off near the hall itself, the path winds out into rolling pasture and mature woodland, taking in the elegant Kedleston Hall Bath House along the way.
From there the route climbs steadily through the trees, passing the secluded Hermitage tucked into the woodland before opening out at the Summer House, a fine spot to pause and take in views back across the estate. Along the way you'll catch glimpses of the parkland's quieter corners, including the ornamental waterways that thread through the grounds.
Nearby, the Boathouse and Adams Bridge sit close to Cutler Brook, while Meynell Langley Gardens and the Meynell Tea Rooms make an easy add-on for anyone looking to round the day off with cake and a wander among the flowerbeds.
