About this walk
Starting in the Cambridgeshire village of Comberton, this easy circular walk sets off from the village pond, a natural gathering place close to the Three Horseshoes pub. From here the route wanders past St Mary's church before heading out into the quiet countryside on the village's western edge.
The path leads you into Watts Wood, a peaceful pocket of trees, then on to a small sensory garden where scented planting and tactile features make a pleasant pause. Continuing round, you reach Jubilee Wood, a community woodland planted to mark a royal jubilee, before looping gently back towards the village. Tit Brook runs close by, adding a soft ribbon of water to the landscape.
With only around 34 metres of ascent spread over three miles, the walk suits families and casual strollers, and it can comfortably be completed in a little over an hour. Refreshments at the Three Horseshoes make a natural finish back in Comberton.
