About this walk

Starting in the small market town of Reepham, this 7.6 km route heads out into the soft, rolling farmland that characterises this corner of central Norfolk. The walking is easy underfoot with only around 63 metres of ascent across the whole circuit, making it a comfortable outing of just under two hours.

The path leads to Booton Common, a peaceful patch of low-lying wetland and grassland that feels worlds away from the road. From here you continue towards Saint Agnes before the route swings back, passing The Crown, a handy spot to rest your legs before the final stretch. Field edges, quiet lanes and patches of woodland link the waypoints together.

The walk finishes back where it began in Reepham, where the old market place and clustered churches make a pleasant place to linger after the loop. It is a route that rewards an unhurried pace, with big Norfolk skies overhead and plenty of birdlife to look out for along the way.
