Torbay Royal Regatta 2026 – Premier Sailing Event on the English Riviera

The Torbay Royal Regatta 2026 returns from Friday 21 August to Monday 24 August 2026, hosted by the prestigious Royal Torbay Yacht Club on the stunning waters of Tor Bay in the English Riviera, Devon, UK. This iconic sailing event brings together competitive racers, sailing enthusiasts, and visitors from across the country for four days of world‑class racing and seaside celebration.

Exciting Racing Action on the Water

The regatta features thrilling races for a variety of classes, including IRC yachts, cruisers, J/24s, RS21s, and other sportsboat fleets. It also incorporates the IRC South West Championship as well as the Impala, J/24 and RS21 National Championship racing, with up to 100 boats expected to compete across multiple race areas in Tor Bay.

Competitors can expect competitive yet fun racing on the fine sailing waters of Torbay, with free berthing included in entry fees and easy access to race areas directly from the sheltered Torquay harbour.
