The Sidmouth Folk Festival returns in 2026 for its 72nd year, bringing an extraordinary celebration of folk music, dance, and heritage to the stunning Devon coast. Recognised as one of the UK’s longest-running and most beloved folk events, the festival transforms Sidmouth into a joyful gathering place for artists, dancers, storytellers, and music lovers from around the world.

For eight magical days, the town comes alive with hundreds of concerts, ceilidhs, dances, and workshops, spanning every corner of the folk spectrum – from traditional English and Celtic tunes to global roots and contemporary acts.
