About Join us for a day of playful experimentation and return home with your own hand painted lampshade. Inspired by Charleston's interiors and gardens, we will explore decorative flowers, leaves, geometric patterns and eclectic motifs, developing our own artistic voice.In the morning, we will paint on a card lampshade panel, experimenting with paint mediums, expressive brushwork, layered motifs and bold colour palettes. In the afternoon, we will use our hand-painted panel to construct a unique, personalised lampshade.Suitable for all levels, you will leave with a very special, one-of-a-kind homewares piece, inspired by Charleston.The workshop includes an exclusive tour of the modernist home and garden at Charleston, providing a glimpse into its rich artistic history, along with all the materials you'll need to bring your creations to life.Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, including a delicious lunch made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
