Organised by Visit East Yorkshire Events Team and proudly supported by the Beverley Arms Hotel, the Beverley Festival of Christmas returns on Sunday 13 December 2026 for a magical day of festive shopping, seasonal entertainment and Christmas cheer.

Celebrating its 30th year, this much-loved event transforms the heart of historic Beverley into a festive wonderland. With around 120 market stalls lining the town’s streets, it is one of the UK’s largest one-day Christmas markets, attracting thousands of visitors from across the country. Best of all, it is completely free to attend.

Discover a Festive Shopping Wonderland

Step into the Christmas spirit as Beverley’s charming streets come alive with festive sights, sounds and aromas. Spread across Saturday Market, Wednesday Market and North Bar Within, the market features traditional Victorian-style stalls filled with unique Christmas gifts, seasonal decorations, handmade crafts, local food and drink, and special festive treats.

Whether you're searching for the perfect present, stocking up on seasonal delights or simply enjoying a day out with family and friends, you'll find plenty to explore throughout the town centre.

Family Entertainment Throughout the Day

The Beverley Festival of Christmas offers much more than shopping. Visitors can enjoy a packed programme of festive entertainment, including:

• Traditional Victorian fairground rides

• Carol singing
• Music and dancing
• Birds of prey displays

The festival officially begins with the much-anticipated Christmas parade, which makes its way from Wednesday Market to Saturday Market at 10am, marking the start of a memorable day of festive celebrations.

Free Park and Ride

To make getting to the festival as easy as possible, a free park and ride service operates from Beverley Racecourse.

• Service runs from 9am
• Two buses operate between the racecourse and Beverley town centre
• Last return bus departs Beverley at 5pm
• Parking is available for up to 500 vehicles
