Paul has been the BBC TV 'Look North' weather presenter for over 30 years. He is also the BBC's climate and environment correspondent.
After being awarded a 1st Class degree in Geophysics at Newcastle University, he studied Meteorology at the Met Office in Reading. Paul then joined BBC TV in Leeds as a meteorologist, highlighting the importance of climate change to their TV audience. He has also written several books on the subject.
This evening he will talk about the weather and climate as it effects Britain and Yorkshire in the past, present and future before he takes questions from members of the audience..
