Managing Director - StagecoachI’m delighted to welcome you on-board our 700 Coastliner bus today. Thank you for travelling with us – it’s really appreciated indeed!
The Coastliner is one of our flagship services connecting Hampshire with Sussex and serves so many fabulous destinations and places of interest. It’s a fascinating journey, with plenty to see as the bus makes its way between Portsmouth, Chichester, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton.
These are exciting times for the route, following Stagecoach’s £5.3m investment in 22 new low-emission buses in 2023.
As you’ll see on-board, these modern, state of the art double-decker buses feature at seat USB charging ports, plus audio and visual next-stop announcements, making bus services as accessible as possible for all of our customers. We’ve also improved the frequency of services, with buses between Chichester and Bognor Regis running every 10 minutes, with buses every 20 minutes between Portsmouth and Chichester as well as between Chichester, Yapton and Littlehampton.
With the Governments £2 capped single fare scheme extended until the end of 2024, it’s the perfect time to explore the beautiful coastal communities by bus, with so much to visit and do all year-round!
